This is a creative and unique idea for a fall wedding, shower, halloween party, or even Thanksgiving decor! Hollow out a large pumpkin and place a similar sized metal bowl, or gallon bucket inside, fill with ice and stick your wine or beer bottles inside. Easy as that, and truly adds a fun touch to the theme that your guests will love! What other creative DIY projects have you done with pumpkins?

Mason Jar Themed Bridal Shower

This mason jar themed bridal shower is adorable for a summer shower, and easy to put together!

Mason jar shaped labels for food and drinks make a cute accessory for the themed shower. There are many templates on google but the template from Sweetly Scrapped Blog was used for these. There are several different mason jar shapes, so choose the one you like! Simply print out the template and trace it on to a piece of scrapbook paper, color of your choice, and cut it out (you can fit about 3 or 4 on one sheet of paper). Then cut white scrap book paper for the top and the middle to write on. Last, tie a piece of twine around the top.

Brides- What other mason jar ideas have you seen?

DIY- Chalk Board Dipped Wine Glasses

Image

We love these chalk board wine glasses, here’s how you can make them yourself!

You will need wine glasses, chalk board paint (found at Home Depot), a plastic container, and wax paper.

  1. Pour a little bit of chalk board paint into your plastic container
  2. Dip the base of the wine glass in the paint
  3. Set on parchment paper and let dry!
  4. Once dry, feel free to write on them again and again with chalk! They will erase just like a chalk board 🙂

This is such a creative idea for your guests to keep track of their glass, and of course have fun writing on them! What else have you used chalk board paint for?
